The first talk is on Wednesday at 12 noon. It’s a genealogy talk called ‘Research for Genealogical Research’ by Alex Du Toit of Lochaber Archive Centre. He’s bringing a laptop and projector and will show archive material specific to this area. It’s for anybody who has an interest in tracing their roots locally, and he’ll show research techniques which can be used generally too.

The second talk is by Dr Annie Tindley from the University of Dundee History Department. It’s on Thursday at 12.30. She’s co-author of ‘Doctor Lachlan Grant of Ballachulish, 1871-1945’. She’s also bringing a laptop and projector and will deliver a talk and slide show about Doctor Grant.
