Glencoe Folk Museum is excited to welcome Dr Annie Tindley – co-author of ‘Dr Lachlan Grant of Ballachulish, 1871-1945’ – back to the museum after her popular talk last season.
If you missed it last year, this is another chance to hear more about the fascinating life of the famous rural doctor, from fighting for the rights and health of workers in the Slate Quarry to ‘ahead-of-his-time’ ideas about issues such as mental health, political activism and, of course, his contribution to the National Health Service.
This is a free event, and will take place at 5pm on Thursday 8th June. It would be very much appreciated if you could spread the word to locals and visitors alike, all welcome
