The Old Inn has recently opened and here are some reviews of the food it provides! “Eaten here this evening with my family and had one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The chargrilled chicken was also exceptional and don’t get me started on the chips 🍟. Atmosphere was very authentic and service was great. Overall 10/10 would recommend to everyone.”

“We have been lucky enough to be staying in the area and the Old Inn is only an 800 m walk from our accommodation. The Inn does look closed from the road but head round the back for the entrance and little beer garden patio which provides stunning views of Castle Stalker. The Inn has been restored and makes great use of exposed stone and has a fabulous stove in the corner. You feel in a proper Scottish Inn no tartan or shortbread here. West Beers are served by friendly and welcoming young staff who are locals and are passionate about the Inn and the area. We dined last night and had the pleasure of trying fresh Langoustines just off the boat. They were amazing (see photo)! We also sampled the delicious fresh hake and a steak which was one of the finest I have ever had. Wholesome, well priced dishes that were followed by a sticky toffee pudding that hit the spot. Well done to the team behind the Old Inn we congratulate you on a great place with ‘heart and soul’. Definitely we will be back and urge all those who pass to drop in. You won’t regret it!”
It is a 15 minute walk from us, along the cycle track, and has amazing views accross Loch Linnhe, and castle Stalker! They often have live traditional music too.
